How to Connect to Exasol

For testing purposes you can create a trial account by Exasol and download a VMware image or connect to the Exasol cloud.

Connect to Exasol in the Cloud

All cloud providers, like AWS, Oracle or Google allows to get the JDBC URL in the cloud console. In DbSchema Connection Dialog choose 'Manually Edit the JDBC URL' and copy the URL.

For this you need to provide the Host, Port, User and Password. Press the 'Ping' button to make sure the port is accessible. If this is failing, please check if remote connections are enabled in the database, and check the firewalls. Connect to Exasol
